Mimi’s First Purikura

Ohrusty and I were out sight-seeing around near our apartment, when we decided to go see the pet store to look at the puppies.  We had talked about getting a dog, but weren’t really serious about it until we saw Mimi sitting in her box of newspapers, unloved.  She’s a pomchi, and in Japan, only pure breeds are popular enough to be adopted from pet stores, and Mimi was already getting too old to stay up for sale.  We had to rescue her!  The moment we saw Mimi, she felt like she was part of the family.  So we put a down payment on her, and took a few days to sleep on it, since adopting a dog is a big commitment.  Of course, we couldn’t resist, by the end of the week, she was home and we couldn’t have been happier.
